The Semester of Graduation

 

1. Be sure to take the “thesis/dissertation” course in the online course

    selection system.

 

2. Please check whether your graduation required credits have been

    completed.

 

 

1.  Passed the candidacy examination completed.

    (Within four years since enrollment)

 

2.  Passed the oral defense proposal.

    (Please apply in one semester after passing the candidacy examination)

If you can finish the oral defense

If you cannot finish the oral defense for some reasons

Preparation before the Oral Defense Examination

Cancel the oral defense examination

 

1. Please make your own oral defense location

    reservation.

 

2. Poster for oral defense (Please post on the office

    bulletin one week before the oral defense).

 

3. Certificate of appointment to committee members

    (Please e-mail or hand-in to the committee members)

 

4. Please inform the committee members first: All

    related fee will be remitted directly to their account

    after the oral defense. And the bank might charge for

    the remittances.

 

5. If the committee members need to park, please fill

    out the Temporary Parking Permit Application Form

    and attach the committee members list, and then

    submit it to the office of the College of Public Health.

 

 

 

If you cannot finish the oral defense for some reasons, please cancel the oral defense examination with formal documentation and advisor’ s agreement. If you did not cancel the examination before the deadline, it would be considered as failed. If you failed the oral defense twice, you would be suspended by NTU.

The Oral Defense Day(Before)

 

 

1. Decorate the place, set up the necessary equipment

 

2. Check the following documents are prepared

(1) Advisor, thesis examination and transportation fee paylist (in triplicate)

Please collect from office one week before the oral defense)

(2) Doctoral Degree Examination (Oral Defense) Grade Sheet

(3) Ph.D. Dissertation Acceptance Certificate

 

 

 

The Oral Defense Day(After)

 

 

 

Please submit the following documents to office after the oral defense examination

1. Submit the following documents:

(1)Doctoral Degree Examination (Oral Defense) Grade  Sheet (the original copy with signature)

(2)Ph.D. Dissertation Acceptance Certificate (one copy with signature)

(3)Advisor, thesis examination and transportation fee paylist (original copy in triplicate with signature)

2. Site restoration and cleanliness.

 

   

Thesis Paper Submission and Upload

    Originality Comparison.

3. To the Medical College Library Branch check loan records

    and submit 2 paperback or hardcover.

Formalities before Leaving School

 

1. Please follow the online system

    “myNTUSteps For Application To Leave School

 

2. Submit one paperback thesis paperto office

 

3. Submit statement of Academic Ethics and Originality

    Comparison to office.

 

4. Return the “Room 544” seat, key, software and all the

    things you borrowed from the office.

 

5. Return the parking license and the entrance card of Public

    Health Building.

 

6. Return the graduation gown and cap (Branch office at

    College of Medicine).

 

7. Receive the degree certificate at Branch office at College

    of Medicine.
